Awards & Recognition: Volunteers needed to coordinate recognition events after each sports season and 8th grade dance. Time commitment is throughout the year.
Concessions: Volunteers needed to help sell concessions items at sporting events and school events. Chairperson responsibilities would also include shopping for supplies and coordinating volunteers. Time commitment throughout the year.
Corporate Fundraising: Washington works with several corporations to secure funds to support out school. Volunteers choose from a variety of options while serving on this committee and much can be done from home. Time commitment throughout the year.
Friday Frenzy: Organize volunteers, book Dj and coordinate activities. Volunteers needed to chaperone, set up and clean up 2x a year. Usually held from 3:45-5:30pm usually on Fridays. Time commitment-planned activities
General Store: General Store is open during lunch hours once a month. Students reimburse their tickets for items in the store. Chairperson must shop for items and keep the store stocked. Time commitment throughout the year.
Hospitality/Staff Appreciation: Volunteers provide assistance with preparing food and serving at several teacher appreciation events (beginning of school luncheon, Teach App Week, Chili Luncheon, EOY luncheon. Parent/Teacher Conf.) Time commitment throughout the year.
S.C.A.C: Attend the SCAC meeting for the district and report back to the PTA each month. Time commitment- once per month
Spiritwear: Organize the purchasing and selling of WMS spiritwear. Time commitment throughout the year.
